WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MODELLING MOMENT FOR 2009?

i read an article in an model website that asked models from Milan fashion week what they felt was they're most memorable moment for the year. It got me thinking what was my most memorable model memory this year.

I guess it would be reporting to the Raven models office for the first time last February. By that time most of my friends were under their representation, and i was nervous as nervous can get. Anyways i made it out alive and they sent me to a casting the next day. I got the job! LOL. At that moment i felt like i wasn't useless anymore. Another notable moment i had this year was the day they sent us our fitting schedules for fashion week. I never ever in my dreams would have thought I'd get in, so I got a bit teary. -what a loser-. LOL

anyways i had the idea of asking models what their favorite model moment was for 2009. here is part one of their answers.....

IYA CONSENGCO


I can't exactly pick a favorite moment because 2009 has been good to be in terms of getting modelling bookings. I've met a lot of genuinely talented people from designers, to makeup artists,photographers, hair stylists, models,to media people,etc. thus I feel so blessed this year. I thank all those who've believed in me as a petite model.

Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009 is my best experience for the year.knowing and sharing moments with the other contestants for almost 2 months was so much fun.

well my fav modelling moment would definitely be the fashion show i did for project runway phil. . It was a nice opportunity for me to show my killer catwalk but then it turned out to be a mess and i dont know why. but still i would choose that moment as my fav coz i learned what i have to improve my walk

hmmm, since this is my first modeling year, maybe being part of project runway philippines season2, it gave me a break somehow.... and having my posters in the mall and magazine for prestige fragrance just this december '09...hmm, actually its hard to pick coz every moment is like a dream, like being part of pfw too... i mean, i never imagined i would even survive in this industry.

I wasn't able to walk for fashion week but for me the best experience i had this year was that i was able to work towards that dream and most of all all the go sees, photo shoots and shows that i went to made me build friendships with other models, photographers and make-up artists.

my favorite modelling moment for 2009 is the charity show we did in PICC. Directors, models old and new gathered together for the benefit of the typhoon victims. =)


BAMBI ABDULSANI

my favorite modeling moment was during my editorial shoot for Women's Health Magazine last February (issue for month of April) its because its my FIRST and LAST editorial shoot here in manila. My other first, hahaha! meron ba nun? sa Davao kasi un noon..(2004-2007).

During 2001-2003 here in manila, noong nsa PEAK pa ako ng modeling career ko, i had pictorial shoots for FDAP and other designers.. kaso lumalabas sa newspapers and Mod magazines lang... Most of the time kasi, runway pics ang makikita mo na pictures ko sa glossymagazines. Kaya ayon! Dream come true sya for me kahit matanda na ako nagkapag editorial padin.

my favorite modelling moment for the year 2009 was being able to sashay down the runway of Phil. Fashion Week SS 2010 again. (that was a month after i gave birth. ^_^)
