i never really got to explain the reason why i wanted to blog about the best girl models here.
i honestly just wanted to give these girls some credit. some of the best models have multiply and blogspot accounts too but they never ever get the proper attention and praise that they deserve..
i've seen mindless posts of shirtless or even half naked male "models" being posted at a daily basis and it is starting to get a bit annoying. these photos btw stay on top of my inbox or updates because so many people comment on them, even if the styling is horrendous and the model isn't that good. there are also the attention craving new kids who post the weirdest "high fashion" photos i have seen, yet they garner so much praise for something that would most probably be criticized at a casting.
meanwhile some of the top models here are being ignored. charo ronquillo or some faker set up an account for her, and she is the real deal. there's jhenn olivar and diana santos who have modelled internationally, yet people barely notice them here. kate bautista who's in a lot of magazines and a has a tvc out has less than 100 contacts. i mean come on. these girls deserve some applause.
please do not attack me again or think i'm being an a*****. i just want these worthy girls the recognition that they want. it's actually a salute not just to the model but also the photographers, make-up artists, fashion directors, stylists and everyone in a crew that does everything that they can to produce some of the most awe-inspiring photos.
this is an ode, to the business that we all love and enjoy being in.
