Jasmine Maierhofer just turned 18 this year, but she's already etching her place in philippine fashion pop-culture history. The bubbly self proclaimed "probinsiyana" has charmed both designers and fashion watchers a like.
She been on every major fashion magazine in the country, and is a steady runway favorite, but has undeniably remained down to earth. I first met her during fashion week fittings last May, me and my friends were relative model "newbies" and Jasmine pointed us to the room where all the models were being checked in attendance. I let out a sigh of relief -and possibly a shriek of glee- when she cheerfully agreed to my interview and blog feature, we also had a chat which was centered around her fear of growing anymore taller than she already is (5'10). -LOL- Anyways she gave be the most candid and crazy answers that i couldn't wait for next week to post her feature.
YEOH: Everybody recognizes you from your countless photos in magazines and even tv commercials, can you tell us something that we might not know about you?
JASMINE: I started modeling when i was in gradeschool,but not full tym...we own a resort in puerto galera..while playing chinese garter our customer approached me and then she talked to my mom regarding me...pero more projects came after i joined elite model look 05 won the place model in print.... naku out of the question ata yung answer ko hahaha anyways....
Super iyakin c jasmine...superkolokoy i mean hirap explain..kahit anu willing ko gawin na kalokohan hahahha...mmmpp kc..laking probinsya mmppp naaalala ko nanghihingi pa kmi ng coins sa dagat pagmay dumadating na boat magswimming na kami tas manghingi ng coins sa mga passengers...parang Muro-ami hahaha.

Y: What's the thing that you like most about modelling?
J: Its about friendship nd exploring/experiencing many different things.....also improving different moods like yung patience pag may panget sa shoot..etc....
Y: What do you think is your best quality as a model?
J: My character...height....and look.......
Y:Who are your favorites models?
J: Ate ria bolivar.Grace tagle...
Y: As a model, what do you want to achieve or do?
J: Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhh i wanna conquer modeling around the world after that i die
ahhahhaa
Y:You've also modeled in china and singapore,hongkong, what was the most memorable experience you had while modelling overseas?
J: Naku i had this bad experience in singapore...it was a bar show..I'm with a partner na guy on the ramp(age).... aldo was the sponsor so we were wearing an aldo shoes..but then again the shoes was too big for me .so i decided to remove them and so i did then i gave the shoes to my partner sa stage while walking and acted na pagod kaya binigay sa guy un shoes pag dating ko sa backstage nagalit yung sponsor hahaa pero seriously nakakahiya yung ginawa ko hahahaa...
Y: What advice can you give aspiring models?
J: You need to be strong with your personality...... emotionally and spiritually..patience is a virtue...always have trust in God through that you can learn how to trust yourself and others.
Never give up....love God above all.....we are born here to seek for the truth hahahahaah layo na sa question..
